The Rajasthan Jan Soochna Portal is a platform designed to provide information about various schemes of the Rajasthan government on one platform. Launched in 2019, the portal aims to make information easily accessible to the public regarding government departments, and their schemes.
Since its launch, the portal has expanded its coverage and now disseminates information about 339 schemes of 117 departments. These schemes include social security pension, various loan schemes, unemployment allowance, senior citizen pilgrimage, a complaint platform, and more.
Residents of the state can easily access information about the schemes they wish to benefit from the Jan Soochna Portal.

Let’s explore how one can check details on the portal.
How To Check Information About Departments And Schemes?
There are 117 departments on the Web portal as of now, providing not only macro data, but also details down to the level of beneficiary names, and the status of benefits, among others. One can easily access the information about the schemes offered by the different departments under the ‘click here’ option on the centre of the portal’s homepage. Else, one may click on the ‘Department’ in the top right corner of the homepage. The subsequent window will display all the department names with icons.
One can click on the relevant department to view the schemes it offers. For instance, by clicking on the Social Justice and Empowerment Department one can see the schemes run by that department. There are seven tabs on display. If one clicks on the Social Security Pension Beneficiary Information tab, the next screen will show the beneficiary eligibility rules, beneficiaries in your area, and pension payment details, among others.
In case, one knows the scheme name one wants to benefit from, then one can click directly on the ‘Scheme’ option on the top right and check the details.
How To Check The Eligibility?
The portal not only provides scheme information but also allows users to check their eligibility for benefits.
- To check the eligibility, click on the option ‘Click here for scheme eligibility’ option on the centre of the page. One needs to mention Jan Aadhaar number and select the scheme from the list to check one’s eligibility.
- The next screen will require additional information, such as name, gender, date of birth, marital status, annual income, etc. Fill in the required information, and click on proceed.
- Next, it will show the number of schemes one is eligible to receive benefits from and the number of schemes from which one is already receiving benefits.
- Below the list of schemes, there will be a list of schemes with the ‘Documents’ option mentioning the documents required to avail of each scheme.
- If more information is needed, applicants can contact the nodal officer of the scheme provided by clicking on the ‘Help Desk’ option under any of the four scheme options at the centre of the page.
- Additionally, one can also check the government scheme information on mobile devices by downloading the ‘Jan Soochna’ mobile app. One can also call on 1800-180-6127 to get information about the Web portal-related queries.
