How To Check Information About Departments And Schemes?

There are 117 departments on the Web portal as of now, providing not only macro data, but also details down to the level of beneficiary names, and the status of benefits, among others. One can easily access the information about the schemes offered by the different departments under the ‘click here’ option on the centre of the portal’s homepage. Else, one may click on the ‘Department’ in the top right corner of the homepage. The subsequent window will display all the department names with icons.

One can click on the relevant department to view the schemes it offers. For instance, by clicking on the Social Justice and Empowerment Department one can see the schemes run by that department. There are seven tabs on display. If one clicks on the Social Security Pension Beneficiary Information tab, the next screen will show the beneficiary eligibility rules, beneficiaries in your area, and pension payment details, among others.

In case, one knows the scheme name one wants to benefit from, then one can click directly on the ‘Scheme’ option on the top right and check the details.
