Elderly people can easily gather information and apply for them through this site from the comforts of their homes. Consequently, senior citizens no longer need to visit the banks to get information about the schemes or pension status.

The portal provides various information. For instance, the users can check whether their names have been added to the pension list by the government for receiving pensions. They can also request changes in the application, submit documents and bank details, and lodge grievances.

How To Check Your Name In The Pension List?

First, go to the Department of Social Welfare’s website. Click the option “View beneficiary list”. It will lead you to a new page. Then, you will need to provide all the necessary details, like the pension type, village, block, area, and district. Next, you will need to select the option to view your name; for example, using Aadhar, pension ID or bank account number.

Finally, fill out the captcha code and click submit to view the pension list. You can check the names of the existing pensioners in the village, pension schemes as well as those newly added.
