Campaign Aims To Address 1,891 Registered Grievances

The family pension-related grievances to be addressed under this campaign have been shortlisted from the registered ones on the CPENGRAMS portal. A total of 1,891 (registered till June 15, 2024) family pension-related grievances have been identified for redressal during the campaign period, the statement said. The majority of such grievances are registered by defence, railway, and CAPFs pensioners under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Apart from these, the ministry says that “bank-related issues also constitute a sizeable number.”

To ensure timely grievance redressal and the success of the campaign, the DOPPW will monitor and provide all assistance to concerned administrative departments.

How Can You Register A Family Pension Grievance?

The grievances can be registered either directly or on the portal: www.pgportal.gov.in/pension. The applicants can register their complaints themselves or by the DOPPW on receipt of details via e-mail, post, or toll-free number 1800-11-1960.

Note: To file a complaint on the portal, you must keep your Pension Payment Order (PPO) number handy to ensure that your complaint is quickly answered by the government.
