The Kerala government launched the Jeevan Rekha website, jeevanrekha.kerala.gov.in, in 2022 to distribute pensions and provide other welfare services. The website includes information on various pension plans and public welfare services on a single platform and provides detailed information about various public facilities, such as biometric authentication centres for pensioners or the Akshaya Kendra service stations, etc., in the state.

To avail of the pensions, the beneficiaries must provide a life certificate annually. Also, the Aadhaar technology has enabled biometric authentication of people, allowing pensioners to opt for biometric authentication through the Jeevan Rekha Portal, Akshaya Kendra, or any other government-designated service centers.
The Jeevan Rekha portal provides services such as login and registration for schemes like Sevana Pension, Jeevan Rekha pension, Sevana civil supplies service, and many more.
