The beneficiary must be of 60 years and above and from the economically weaker section of society, or, belong to the below poverty line (BPL) category.

Exclusions
The scheme excludes those receiving disability, widow, farmer, and other state or central government pension benefits.
Documents
The applicant must submit self-attested copies of Aadhaar, ration, voter ID card, an income certificate, spouse’s death certificate, bank details, along with a nomination form and a passport size photo.
